About AI Audiobooks
An AI audiobook generator that gives every character its own voice. What we build, how we work and how to reach us.

What we build
AI Audiobooks is a web app that turns books into full-cast audiobooks. Its AI audiobook generator reads your book, finds the chapters and the speakers, and narrates each character with a voice of its own. Around it sit format tools such as EPUB to audiobook and PDF to audiobook, an M4B audiobook maker, and free tools like the audiobook cost calculator and the MP3 to M4B converter. Generating narration uses credits from a plan or a credit pack (see pricing); the free tools stay free.
How we work
- Free means free. Importing a book, finding its chapters, casting the voices and previewing them cost nothing, and the free tools need no account. Nothing we export carries a watermark. You need an account and credits only to generate narration.
- Your files stay with you. Your book is read in your browser and never uploaded, and your projects are saved there too. Only the lines you choose to generate are sent, as text, to our speech provider, and the finished audio is kept so you can play and export it. We don't sell your files, and we don't use them to train AI models.
- Audio you can publish. Download each chapter as an MP3, the whole book as a ZIP, or a single M4B with chapter markers and your cover.
- Failed lines cost nothing. Credits are charged when a line is generated. If the line fails, they come back to your balance automatically.
- No invented numbers. We don't publish user counts, ratings or testimonials we can't back up. Every voice tier lists its credit cost on the pricing page.
Who it is for
Authors and self-publishers who want an audiobook edition, web novel and fanfiction writers, teachers, and readers who want to hear a public domain classic with a full cast.
Results you can check
AI narration is fluent but not perfect. It can mispronounce names and invented words, give a line to the wrong speaker, or read a scene in the wrong mood. Listen to each chapter before you publish it: fix a speaker in the cast, add a direction, and regenerate only the lines that need it, which charges only those lines. Stores have their own rules for AI narration, so check them first; where to sell AI audiobooks compares them.
