Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

We provide a software-as-a-service platform. AI Audiobooks turns text you provide, such as books and manuscripts, into AI-generated speech (text to speech) and audio files. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Submit text or create audio that breaks the Content Standards below.

Content Standards and Prohibited Content

The service generates speech from the text you submit. You are responsible for the text you submit and for any audio you create, publish, or share. You must not use the service to create, upload, or distribute the following six categories of content:

1. Sexual content (NSFW): sexually explicit or pornographic material, including explicit sexual descriptions written to arouse. Fiction may include romance and adult themes as long as they are not sexually explicit.
2. Violence and gore: content that glorifies, promotes, or incites violence, threatens real people, or dwells on graphic gore for its own sake. Fiction may depict crime, conflict, and horror without gratuitous detail.
3. Hate speech and harassment: content that attacks, demeans, or incites hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic, and content that harasses, bullies, or threatens anyone.
4. Child safety (CSAM): any content that sexualizes minors, child sexual abuse material, or content that grooms or endangers children. We have zero tolerance for this category.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation: imitating, cloning, or impersonating the voice, name, or identity of a real person without their documented consent; audio designed to make listeners believe a real person said something they did not say; and audio used for fraud, scams, or political or election disinformation.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement: narrating or distributing books and other works you do not own or have permission to use, and misusing the trademarks of others. Public domain works and your own writing are fine; see audiobook rights for details.

Enforcement

If we find, or are told, that content breaks these standards, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on how serious the violation is:

• Remove the generated audio and the related generation records.
• Refuse further generation requests from the account.
• Deduct or forfeit the remaining credits on the account without refund.
• Suspend or permanently terminate the account.
• Report illegal content to law enforcement or the relevant authorities. Child sexual abuse material is always reported, for example to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Severe or repeated violations, including any child-safety violation, lead to permanent termination. If you believe we made a mistake, reply to our notice or write to us, and we will review the decision again.

Reporting Content

If you find content made with our service that you believe breaks these terms, including audio that imitates you without consent or uses your copyrighted work, email support@aiaudiobooks.net with the subject line "Content report". Please include:

• A link to the content, or a copy of it, and where you found it.
• Why you believe it breaks these terms.
• Your contact details. For a copyright complaint, also identify the work and confirm that you own it or are authorized to act for the owner.

Signed-in users can also open a ticket from their account settings. We confirm receipt within 2 business days. Reports about child safety or a risk of imminent harm are handled first.

How We Review Reports

Every report is reviewed by a member of our team. To investigate, we look at the reported content and the related generation records for the account, including the text submitted for each line, the audio we generated, and when it was made. We then decide on action under the Enforcement section, keep a record of the outcome, and tell the person who reported it and, where appropriate, the account holder. We aim to complete a review within 5 business days.

We do not review every generation in advance. We may also review generation records when needed to investigate abuse or fraud, to keep the service secure, or to comply with the law.

Payment and Billing

Paid features are billed in advance for the selected billing period. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. All payments for subscription plans and credit packs are final and non-refundable. If an AI job fails, the credits used for that request are automatically restored to your account. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us, and we will review the charge and correct any verified billing error.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms, as described under Enforcement. You may request that we close your account at any time by contacting us.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
