How are credits charged?
Only when a line is generated, by its length and voice tier: 6 credits per 1,000 characters on Lite, 9 on Standard, 13 on Premium and 34 on Expressive. Importing, casting and voice previews are free, regenerating one line charges only that line, and lines that fail are refunded automatically.
What does a finished hour of audio cost?

Do unused credits expire?
Plan credits stay valid for 31 days after your billing period ends, so a quiet month rolls into the next. Credit packs last 365 days. Free credits for new accounts last 7 days.
Is there a free trial?
New accounts created with Google get 100 free credits, about 12 min of Standard narration, to try a short passage with your own cast. Usage depends on text length and voice tier. No card needed.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, anytime from Settings. Every plan has the same features, so switching only changes your credits. After cancelling, your plan runs to the end of the period and your credits stay usable until they expire.
Can I sell the audiobooks I make?
